Carol: Ready for what? Your friends? Everyone’s been worried about you. Just come back and say hello and get your hugs and let everyone know you’re okay.
Wanda: I just think I’m better off flying solo for a little while.

Carol: You do get the whole “I’m not taking no for an answer” part, right?
Wanda: Carol…Carol’s certainly been tossed out by the Avengers enough times to understand how much Wanda needs her support, although considering Carol’s history it’s a little painful to see her have such faith that they’ll be as accepting as she is. I’m not condemning the team for closing ranks, but like Tony tells Stature in Young Avengers, sometimes they forget to take care of their own.

Billy [offscreen]: I’ve never really had a problem with being different from other people. It’s other people who have the problem with me.

Billy: Sorry. I thought it stopped.

Billy: I kinda got punched in the face repeatedly.

Wanda: Don’t worry… I won’t tell Iron Man if you won’t. So, when you see this bully at school tomorrow, what are you going to do?
Billy: Run as quickly as possible in the other direction.
Wanda: No, you’re going to stand your ground. Show him you’re not afraid.
Billy: But I am afraid. If I had powers—
Wanda: You do. Everyone has some gift—something they do better than anyone else.
Billy: I don’t think my keen analytical skills are any match for John Kesler’s simian strength, so I plan to stay out of his way.
Wanda: In my experience…the more we do what other people want us to, the more we get into trouble.
